The cases are short and clear and to the point. The text does a great job of explaining concepts, providing examples of the rules, and giving short blurbs that help to nail down the point. The Fifth Edition covers all important recent developments, including Giles v. California (2008) and Melendez-Diaz v. Massachusetts (2009).
